Michelle is my middle name and how most everyone knows me. I have an amazing husband, Bernard and 2 incredible daughters, McKenzie 20 and Kennedy 12. My fur babies complete the household. We have Cooper, a 5-year-old Staffy, Lila, a 1-year-old Chocolate Lab and 2 cats, Delilah and Dixie.
I work fulltime in Human Resources but also have a passion for photography. I’m a huge true crime junkie, I love to travel, thrifting, and making memories with my family.
My dream job as a little girl was to be a National Geographic Photographer. The ability to get paid to travel and tell incredible stories through photographs was mesmerizing to me!
I became a mother pretty young, so when searching for a career I was more focused on practicality and stability than chasing a career that required traveling all over the world. I never lost my love for photography though.
As my children grow, and I become more stable in my life and career I wanted to rekindle that passion for photography. In 2020 I decided to go all in and started studying all I could, still am really, but now as a mother I really find family and lifestyle photography to be what inspires me. Landscape and nature photography are beautiful and still portraits are classic, but it's the candid images captured during sessions that really tell the story and represent the people being photographed. That's what makes them really special and honestly lights me up.
As I started to learn and grow, I decided to take this journey to the next level by starting my own business so I could continue to pursue this lifelong passion of mine of telling stories and preserving memories through photographs.
